Our Firm is offering a position in a fast-paced, fun environment with a downtown setting. The Firm has an immediate opening for an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal in our St. Paul, Minnesota office.

The paralegal will be communicating with current clients, insurance companies, police departments, state municipalities, and other agencies while working in our personal injury practice. The Paralegal will work directly with other paralegals, attorneys and other employees. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills to review files, draft legal documents, and handle administrative tasks.

DUTIES:

● Case management from start to finish

● Draft Demand Letters

● Communicate with clients to make sure treatment plan is current

● Obtain, review, and organize medical records and insurance from clients

● Communication with Insurance Company and Medical Providers

● Broad knowledge of the medical field and insurance policies

● Responsible for wage loss and replacement services

● Balance verifications and assist with subrogation lien resolution ● Assist with settlements ● Helps maintain the personal injury calendar

● Schedule meetings, hearings, conference calls, depositions, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate

· Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a paralegal

· Strong knowledge of legal terminology, principles, and procedures

· Teamwork and collaborative skills are paramount in working with lawyers, clients, and employees at the firm

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment

· Proficiency in Google Suite and legal research databases
