Our Firm is looking for a legal assistant to handle a variety of Personal Injury matters.
Speaking Spanish is a MUST.
We are looking for someone who will have a major impact on our practice and clients, someone who is looking for a long-term position in an office that continues to evolve and grow, as well as someone who will maintain confidentiality of client information.
Experience as a legal assistant/administration assistant or case handling in a personal injury law firm is preferred but not required.
The job includes but is not limited to assisting case managers with clients needs, assisting with client's property damage, locating doctors for clients treatment, requesting medical records and billing reports, police reports, opening claims with insurance companies, sending out letters to corresponding parties, assisting with lien negotiations, and other related personal injury matters.
We are looking for a bright, energetic person who is well organized, motivated, a self-starter, and great with working in a team. Someone who is able to follow directions and learn quickly.

Responsibilities
Communicate with case managers
Prepare case-specific documents
Ensure that case-related documents are well organized and available for review
Maintain and update documentation
Provide general administrative support
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or similar role is preferred
Familiarity with legal procedures and terminology
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized with document management experience
Excellent research skills to effectively gather and analyze legal information
Comfortable Microsoft Office and case management software
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in legal documents and filings.
Knowledge of phone etiquette when communicating with clients and other parties involved in cases.
