The ** Personnel Recovery (PR) Operations & Equipment Coordinator** is for coordinating and maintaining the logistics of assigned Security and PR training programs, working closely with the PR Program Coordinator and the Senior Training Specialist. This individual must demonstrate capability to provide technical support, equipment integration, and management techniques to identify emerging requirements for security and PR training initiatives.
_What does a typical day look like for a Personnel Recovery (PR) Operations & Equipment Coordinator? _
A Personnel Recovery (PR) Operations & Equipment Coordinator's day is dynamic, with a mix of coordinating travel and trainer schedules, supporting curriculum development, and ensuring the quality of security and PR training materials in collaboration with the Senior Training Specialist. Responsibilities include planning and executing security and PR training sessions, maintaining inventory and operational readiness of PRO kit contents (excluding communications equipment), and managing the procurement and supply of necessary training equipment. The Coordinator is also responsible for conducting practical application exercises, producing course evaluation reports, and delegating tasks to Training Specialists while supervising their performance.
In addition, the Coordinator develops and implements PR programs and security-related initiatives, including managing PR equipment inventory and PRO training, and reviewing USAID Mission assessments to identify security training needs. The role also involves coordinating training logistics, overseeing mobile training events, delivering PREEMPT, security, and PRO training, and supervising the activities of Training Specialists. Further duties include managing procurement, inventory, and maintenance of PR and medical equipment, and drafting reports as directed by the PR Program Coordinator.
