    Store History Hoffman Drug is located in Limon, Colorado, just east of Colorado Springs and Denver. It was started in 1926 and has operated under four owners in the last 99 years. Job Objectives Our ideal candidate would have supervisory experience in a pharmacy, but it is not a requirement to apply. A management position would also involve approximately 70 hours per two-week pay period in the store and approximately 10 hours of "at-home" hours to work on management tasks. Specific tasks include the following: • Provide and oversee patient consulting services regarding the effective usage of medications and awareness of drug interactions. • Offer and oversee preventive healthcare services such as immunizations. • Ensure the proper compounding and dispensing of prescribed drugs, as well as review and verification of prescribed medications within regulatory guidelines and company policies and procedures. • Support the efficient workflow of the pharmacy and help identify ways to optimize pharmacy financials, inventory management, and create a positive customer experience. Responsibilities: • Support an enhanced customer experience by increasing focus on healthcare services such as consultation, medication management, drug therapy reviews, and performing wellness services, such as immunizations, flu shots, and diabetes awareness. • Oversee pharmacy intern encounters. • Manage staff relations by promoting teamwork and motivate team members by establishing expectations, monitoring and recognizing progress, as well as intervening with conflict management when necessary. • Maintain awareness of developments in retail and management practices in pharmacy that would enhance team productivity and customer relations. • Maintain a current knowledge of information technology associated with pharmacy to assist staff members and customers in an effort to promote a positive customer experience. • Ensure and oversee accurate processing of insurance claims to resolve customer issues and prevent payment rejections. Follows-up with insurance companies as well as medical providers. Ensures the 3rd party audit process is completed in a timely and efficient manner for a positive outcome for the pharmacy and patient. • Partner with management to develop and implement initiatives to increase profitability in the pharmacy. • Assist with developing specific pharmacy goals, standards, and objectives that directly support the vision of the company. • Ensure compliance with all local, state, federal, third party and contract rules and regulations regarding the practice of pharmacy. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D. • Active pharmacy license in state(s) of practice with all held licenses in good standing. • Certified Immunizer. • 1 year of supervisory experience in a retail pharmacy is preferred but not required. Compensation: $125,000 - $140,000 per year
