LTC Pharmacist Pharamcist ( per diem )
Job Responsibilities:
Immunization certification or willingness to become immunization certified
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of patient medication orders and oversee the dispensing of medications to patients.
• Provide clinical support to healthcare professionals, including pharmacists, nurses, and physicians.
• Collaborate with physicians to optimize patient medication therapy and manage drug interactions, side effects, and adverse events.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any customer service issues.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and work with the team to ensure that quality standards are met.
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and policies
Qualifications:
• Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of California.
• Digital Rx experience is a plus.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medication therapy management in the geriatric population.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and provide excellent customer service.
Job Type: Per diem / Part-time
Schedule:
• Monday to Friday
• Saturdays as needed
Experience:
• LTC pharmacy: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
• California RPH License (Required)
Work Location: In person
The typical pay range for this role is:
$50 - $62 ( Based on experience and Qualifications)
