A large managed care company is looking to fill a 6 Month Pharmacy Tech Contract to Hire position in Charlotte, NC, 28217

Pay Rate: $20/hr (Paid weekly)

Work Hours: Sunday-Thursday 3p-11:30p EST with occasional Saturday shifts 6a-2:30p.

Is overtime or weekend work a requirement? Yes, there is intermittent MOT and a weekend rotation is required

Start Date: March 20th, 2025

End Date: September 30st, 2025

Responsibilities:

Positions in this function perform various duties related to the creation / routing of pharmacy orders through receipt, review and verification of members'/patients' prescriptions. Prep and scan documents, verify member/patient data, submit prescription orders in computer system. May contact members/patients/providers to validate data, request payment information and establish priority of order or delivery details. As permitted by state regulation, interprets providers' prescriptions and creates order, assesses, inputs and retrieves prescription, medical/lab and reimbursement information from computer system.

Required Qualifications:

• Yes, they need to be able to be registered with the NCBOP within 30 days of hire.
• Pharmacy Technician experience and National Certification with PTCB or PTCE

Preferred Qualifications:

• Any pharmacy technician experience will suffice. Self-motivated, fast paced worker.
