Position Overview:

The Pharmacy Technician will provide essential pharmaceutical support during state-declared emergencies, working in settings such as Medical Special Needs Shelters (MSNS), Points of Dispensing Sites (PODS), urgent care centers, and Temporary Medical Operation Staging Areas (TMOSA).

Qualifications:

• Certification: Active Pharmacy Technician license/certification (any U.S. state)
• Experience: 1+ years in pharmacy or healthcare setting preferred
• Technical Skills: Medication preparation, prescription processing, inventory management, regulatory compliance
• Soft Skills: Attention to detail, problem-solving, communication, adaptability

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in medication preparation and dispensing
• Manage and organize pharmacy inventory
• Process prescription requests efficiently
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations
• Support vaccination and medication distribution efforts
