Large managed care company is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to help with the shipping of specialty medication across the country. This is a contract position.

WORK LOCATION: 1100 Lee Branch, Birmingham, AL  35242

PAY: $20.00

CONTRACT DATES: 1/20/25 - 5/30/25

HOURS: M-F, 7:30am-4pm or 8am-4:30pm

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use multiple computer systems to obtain pharmacy orders, compare to order received and produce mailing labels
• Utilize the best method for product packing and shipping based on standard procedures to include type of packaging, unique conditions (i.e. refrigeration), etc. to ensure safe and secure delivery
• Prepare manual prescription orders by verifying information, pulling appropriate prescription drugs from inventory and complete necessary scanning and packaging as necessary
• Maintain various machines and equipment (e.g. IPD machines, auto packing machines)
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
• Must be a active pharmacy technician license in AL
• Previous pharmacy/shipping experience
• Able to use computer systems to obtain pharmacy orders, compare to order received and produce mailing labels
