Job Summary

We are seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. This position will be responsible for collecting all labs that come in to the office along with assisting the Medical Assistants in the back office as needed.

Responsibilities

Collect patients’ personal information

Determine the correct venipuncture method for each patient

Provide patients with reassurance during the collection process

Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood

Correctly label samples and send them for testing

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician

Phlebotomy diploma preferred

Knowledge of best practices in patient identification methods

Familiarity with the legal requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samples

Strong computer and data entry skills
