Solvet Services, LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to support the Federal Corrections Institute: Danbury.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays

6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., including a 30-minute non-paid lunch.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Phlebotomy Services, professional in nature, in a method commensurate with the local community and in accordance with JC standards and BOP policy. 

Maintenance of a waiting list, daily maintenance of laboratory equipment, including advising when equipment requires professional maintenance or repair

Biological specimen collection, preparation and packaging for shipment to the BPA laboratories

Maintenance of laboratory logs and other records as necessary for complying with CLIA guidelines

Inform team of all information pertaining to the services rendered, i.e., specimen(s) obtained, and reporting any problems arising in regards to laboratory services.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum one (1) year of Phlebotomist or Lab Technician experience in a clinical setting
• Completion of a 12-week Lab Technician Program at an approved state program or possess an associate degree
• CPR or BLS
• Personnel Security Requires personnel have a "favorable credit report" and to pass a federal background check.

Pay: $22.50 - $27.00 per hour
