Our client, a highly regarded law firm, is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate with 2+ years of experience to join their Phoenix office. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation attorney to work on employment law matters, including restrictive covenants, trade secrets, and electronic discovery (ESI), while developing their practice under the guidance of experienced attorneys.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and respond to discovery requests and initial pleadings
- Draft and argue motions before courts and administrative agencies
- Take and defend depositions
- Handle ESI discovery and document management
- Work on employment-related matters, including restrictive covenants and trade secrets litigation
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of legal research and writing skills
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active admission to the Arizona Bar is required
- 2+ years of litigation experience, preferably in employment law, restrictive covenants, or trade secrets
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with strong case management abilities
