K-12 Physical Education Teacher

We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Physical Education Teacher to join our team and inspire students across all grade levels.
Position Overview: The K-12 Physical Education Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive physical education program that encourages students to engage in physical activity, develop motor skills, and promote healthy lifestyle choices. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to student development, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment for students of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver age-appropriate physical education lessons that align with state and national standards.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and motivated.
Develop and implement assessment tools to evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education with other academic subjects and school-wide initiatives.
Organize and supervise extracurricular sports and physical activities, including school events and field days.
Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and activities.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and advancements in physical education.
Ensure the safety and maintenance of physical education equipment and facilities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Valid state teaching certification in Physical Education (K-12).
Experience teaching physical education in a K-12 setting preferred.
Strong knowledge of physical education standards, curriculum development, and assessment practices.
Ability to engage and motivate students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
