    Impact Recruiting Solutions is currently seeking a Physical / Occupational Therapist to fill an opening with a multi-specialty practice located in Monroe, New York.

    Requirements of the Physical / Occupational Therapist:

    • Must have a Master’s degree in Physical/Occupational Therapy, a Doctorate is preferred
    • Must have an active NYS License
    • Must be Board Certified
    • Must have excellent communication skills
    • Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records are preferred.
    • Ability to sit, stand, and kneel to provide patient assessment/examinations.

    Benefits of the Physical / Occupational Therapist:

    • The salary for this position is $104,000 - $156,000 / yr for full-time OR $55 - $75 / hr (depending on experience) for Part-time

    Schedule of the Physical / Occupational Therapist:

    • This is a Full-time or a Part-time position
    • 20 - 30 hrs / week (Part-time)
    • Hours will vary depending on business needs
    • Should be very flexible with their schedule

    Responsibilities of the Physical / Occupational Therapist:

    • Meets the patient’s goals and needs and provides quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results determining physical therapy treatments.
    • Helps patients accomplish treatment plans and accept therapeutic devices by administering manual exercises, instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities, such as nonmanual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily living activities, and in using assistive and supportive devices, such as crutches, canes, and prostheses.
    • Administers physical therapy treatments by giving massages, initiating traction, applying physical agents, and moist packs.
    • Evaluate effects of physical therapy treatments and fit of prosthetic and orthotic devices by observing, noting, and evaluating patient progress, recommending adjustments and modifications.
    • Assures continuation of therapeutic plan by designing home exercise programs.
    • Documents patient care services by charting patient and department records. Employees Initials
    • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
    • Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
    • Other duties as assigned.
