What You’ll Do:
Assess and Evaluate: Conduct thorough assessments to determine each patient’s functional abilities, limitations, and goals.
Create Personalized Treatment Plans: Develop tailored treatment plans using a variety of therapeutic techniques to address individual needs.
Implement Interventions: Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to enhance patients’ mobility, strength, and function.
Monitor Progress: Keep detailed documentation of patient progress and adjust treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance on therapy procedures, home exercises, and injury prevention strategies.
Collaborate with a Team: Work alongside physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Stay Current: Keep up with advancements in physical therapy techniques and integrate them into your practice.
Support Compliance: Follow up with patients to ensure adherence to their Plan of Care and encourage engagement in their recovery.
Foster a Collaborative Culture: Actively participate in building a supportive environment that prioritizes teamwork and effective communication.
What You Bring:
Education: Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
Experience: Strong clinical skills, ideally with experience in orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric physical therapy.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal abilities to effectively engage with patients and healthcare teams.
Technical Skills: Proficient in documentation and record-keeping using computer systems.
