    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PT or PTA with direct student interaction to join us as our Clinical Coordinator. In this role, you will oversee the clinical education component of our Physical Therapist Assistant program, ensuring students receive high-quality, hands-on training in real-world healthcare settings.

    • Develop and maintain relationships with clinical sites and preceptors to secure student placements
    • Coordinate and schedule clinical rotations for Physical Therapist Assistant students
    • Evaluate and assess student performance during clinical placements
    • Provide guidance and support to students throughout their clinical education experience
    • Collaborate with faculty to align clinical experiences with curriculum objectives
    • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and healthcare regulations
    • Conduct site visits to assess the quality of clinical education experiences
    • Organize and facilitate clinical instructor training and development programs
    • Maintain accurate records of student placements, evaluations, and clinical site information
    • Participate in program assessment and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • A minimum of an Associate Degree
    • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant or a Physical Therapist
    • Minimum of 3 years of Post Licensure experience as a PT/PTA
    • 2 years of direct student engagement is required and can be as an instructor or a preceptor
    • Strong understanding of physical therapy practices, procedures, and current trends
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities effectively
    • Proficiency in curriculum development and student assessment techniques
    • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
    • Proficient in using computer software for record-keeping and reporting
    • Current CPR certification
    • Willingness to travel locally for site visits and clinical coordination activities
