Position Overview:
As a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll work closely with an experienced Physical Therapist to personalize treatment plans aimed at reducing pain, restoring function, and promoting overall health. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with patients, teaching them therapeutic exercises and stretches to achieve optimal results.

Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Excellence:
- Assessing patients' motor function and recording strength and muscle performance.
- Collaborating with Physical Therapists to develop tailored treatment plans.
- Monitoring patient progress and documenting observations in detailed progress reports.
- Evaluating patients' ability to function independently and recommending necessary modifications to treatment plans.
- Educating patients on exercises and therapies, empowering them to actively participate in their recovery journey.
- Providing guidance on the use of treatment equipment to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
- Assisting with the preparation of reports and contributing to other projects as required.
Administrative Support:
- Collaborating with our expert team to develop innovative physical therapy and aquatic treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
- Contribute to the creation of comprehensive wellness plans designed to facilitate patients' smooth transition back to work, ensuring they return without restrictions and with confidence.
- Participate actively in weekly meetings and team huddles, where your input and insights will help drive continuous improvement and excellence in patient care.

Work Environment:
This role operates within a private office facility, providing direct patient care with up to three patients per 90-minute block.
Physical Demands:
Candidates should demonstrate physical stamina for lifting patients and prolonged periods of standing while conducting therapy sessions.
Hours of Operation:
- Monday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm (30 min break), Tuesday to Thursday 7:30 am to 6:00 pm (30 min break), and Friday, 7:30 am to 12:00 pm.

Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
- Active license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 1 year of prior experience.
