Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
A Physical Therapist Assistant is needed in Sarasota, Florida.

Salary and Benefits
- Pay-per-point compensation model
- Point rate determined post-interview based on clinical skills and experience
- Range: $33–$41 per point
- Low/mid $30s for 1–2 years of experience
- $40–$41 for 15–20 years of experience
- Bilingual skills, certifications, and specialized home health experience may increase rate
- Mileage reimbursement: $0.585 per mile (from patient home to patient home)

- PTO – 29 days in the first year (with full cash-out option)

Responsibilities
- Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule (40 hours/week)
- Provide one-on-one physical therapy services in a home health setting
- Assist in executing treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Accurately document patient care in EMR (Kinnser/WellSky preferred but not required)
- Travel within designated territory:
- North: North Sarasota, Longboat Key, University Pkwy, Downtown Sarasota, Fruitville
- Mid Sarasota: South Sarasota, Siesta Key, Osprey, Laurel, Nokomis, Venice
- South: Port Charlotte, Englewood, Rotunda West, Boca Grande, North Port (occasional Arcadia or Punta Gorda visits ideal but not required)
- Deliver quality care focused on mobility, independence, and safety
Productivity Expectations
- 35 points per week
- Routine visit: 1.0 point
- Precepting: 0.5 points + visit fee
- No weekly admin stipend for PTA role
Requirements
- Active Florida PTA license
- Previous home health experience strongly preferred
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel within assigned region
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Available to start ASAP or by May 12 (May 27 acceptable if needed)
