Asterly Well Care Solutions and our partners are seeking a Physical Therapist with current NYS License or eligible, and 2 years experience required. Days (8hours/day 5days/week)Work Location: Upstate University Hospital; Traveler Allowed

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Current and valid New York State Physical Therapist License

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in physical therapy

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Previous experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred

• BLS certification required

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, plan, and implement programs in accordance with indicated procedures

• Formulate specific goals for patient treatment by appropriately collaborating with other health care personnel and the patients

• Prepare and maintain notes and discharge records in a timely manner

• Attend designated clinics, rounds, and conferences, and render patient information

• Participate in educational programs for staff members, students, volunteers, and other professional health care personnel

• Train new staff members

• Serve as clinical instructor for senior-level students

• Facilitate new program development
