    Our client, located in Tower City, PA, provides high-quality physical therapy to help people live their lives to the fullest without limitations. They are seeking a Physical Therapist to join their team. The Physical Therapist assists patients with injuries and chronic pain by creating and delivering personalized, evidence-based care and treatment plans that aim to maximize the quality of life and movement potential for each patient.

    Essential Responsibilities Include:

    1. Communicate with patients to learn about their symptoms and needs.
    2. Evaluate findings from patient histories, examinations, and assessments.
    3. Diagnose movement dysfunction and develop treatment plans and goals.
    4. Create therapeutic, fitness, and wellness-oriented intervention programs tailored to patients' specific needs.
    5. Use exercises, stretching, equipment, and hands-on therapy to manage patients' pain, increase mobility and prevent further pain and injury.
    6. Educate patients on proper therapeutic techniques to improve their strength, range of motion, balance, and coordination.
    7. Motivate patients to practice self-care.
    8. Document patient care (maintain patient records) as well as progression, adjusting treatment based on clinical presentation.
    9. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, and other relevant individuals, as appropriate.
    10. Manage staff members to maximize efficiency, effectiveness, and employee engagement.
    11. Remain in compliance with HIPAA rules and regulations, infection control procedures,
    12. Collaboratively work with team members to ensure patients receive the best possible service and that areas of fear and/or concern are addressed.
    13. Proactively identify and suggest opportunities to improve patient care, service, and experience to management.

    Highly qualified candidates will possess most of the following:

    • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a CAPTE-accredited program.
    • Current and unrestricted license to practice physical therapy in the Commonwealth of PA.
    • Current on state-regulated continuing education requirements (30 hours every two years).
    • CPR Certification required.
    • Attentive observer, active listener, and effective communicator (in the English language).
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with patients, their families, clinical staff, and other healthcare professionals; in an empathetic, encouraging, professional manner.
    • Basic computer proficiency with the ability to learn new programs.
    • Experience with WebPT, a plus.
