Description
The Physical Therapist is responsible for managing all aspects of patient care. This includes supervising assistants, communicating with family members and other providers as necessary, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for delivering physical therapy services. The Physical Therapist reports directly to the Clinical Director and upholds our core company values of leadership, integrity, excellence, and servitude in all aspects of their work.
Job Responsibilities
Serve patients by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately
Perform initial and ongoing physical therapy evaluations according to APTA standards of practice as well as state standards
Develop & execute treatment plans for each patient
Treatment plans must be modified as demanded by patient progress/performance
Treatment must be delivered in a timely manner as to stay on schedule
Document patient progress according to approved medical documentation and clinic documentation procedures
Evaluate mobility, strength, and current level of patient function, while setting goals to improve in these areas that are scaled to patient abilities and that are realistically attainable
Maintain professional and technical knowledge through attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, etc.
Must attain the minimum required CEUs by the state of Colorado to keep PT license active/current
Assist other clinic staff as needed to provide care and create a clean, orderly, and effective environment for physical therapy treatment
Provide appropriate supervision of any PT assistants/techs during patient treatment
Attend team meetings and be an active participant
Perform other duties as requested by or assigned by the No Limits PT President
Qualifications/Skills
Must have or be eligible to hold a Physical Therapy License through the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies.
Must have a passion for helping & serving others
Experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is preferred
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and desire for excellence
Working knowledge of PC computers and software
Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task
Demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills
Proficient in researching and finding requested information
Handles conflict management professionally
