About the Job
Nexus HR has an immediate opening for a full-time Physical Therapist to join our dedicated and close-knit team. Our practice offers a wide variety of cases, providing services to patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly. We treat a diverse range of conditions, including orthopedic and neurological issues, with some potential for a partial pediatric caseload.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Evaluate and treat patients of all ages with a variety of conditions including orthopedic and neurological issues.
Develop personalized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes.
Provide manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and other modalities as appropriate.
Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other physical therapists and support staff to provide high-quality care.
Communicate effectively with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Participate in team meetings and case conferences.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and organizational requirements.
Professional Development:
Stay current with advances in physical therapy by participating in continuing education opportunities.
Maintain professional licensure and certifications.
Qualifications :
Education: Masters or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
Licensure: Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New York. Temporary license holders are welcome.
Experience: New graduates are encouraged to apply. Experience with a diverse patient population is a plus.
Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
