Physical Therapist – Outpatient Rehab at Home

Titan Placement Group is searching for a Physical Therapist in Westport, CT.

We are recruiting on behalf of a boutique home health agency for seniors and recently hospitalized patients. Our client specializes in providing in-home physical therapy to increase strength, regain range of motion, and promote emotional well-being. This role involves offering outpatient rehabilitation at home services under Medicare Part B, as well as private duty services for homebound older adults.

Salary and Benefits:

• Compensation: $95,000 - $120,000
• Health insurance: 100% paid by the employer
• Vision and dental insurance: Paid by the employee
• Retirement Plan: Connecticut State Retirement Plan
• Paid Time Off: Covered under the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) 100% by the state

Position Details:

• Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (flexible hours as long as weekly visits are met)
• Weekly Visits: 130 units per week (4 units per visit, averaging 32.5 visits per week)
• Documentation: Less extensive than Medicare Part A
• Therapist Needs: One Physical Therapist for Medicare Part B services
• Location Considerations: Therapists should live near Westport, CT. Candidates from Bronx, Westchester, or Rockland County, NY are also welcome due to licensing reciprocity with Connecticut.

Requirements:

• Licensure: Clear and Active Physical Therapist License in the State of Connecticut
• Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred but not required
• Experience: Home health experience is preferred, but new graduates with a strong desire to learn will also be considered.
