    PHYSICAL THERAPIST (PT PRN) PER DIEM

    GET PAID TO WORK FROM HOME! This position is remote, but will require a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a reliable personal automobile for local travel to provide care to clients in the Frisco and Plano, Texas areas.

    Job Summary: Qualicare is looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team! As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care, promoting physical function, and enhancing overall health and well-being.

    We offer not only geriatric care, but we also offer Hospice, Palliative, discharge to home, Alzheimer’s and Dementia care, and concierge medical care.

    Responsibilities: ● Provide direct patient care to a diverse range of patients ● Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify physical impairments and develop personalized treatment plans. ● Utilize a range of evidence-based techniques, including trigger point therapy, to address patient needs.

    ● Implement and monitor patient treatment plans, adjusting as necessary.

    ● Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

    ● Stay current with the latest developments in physical therapy, including orthopedics, hospital medicine, and anatomy knowledge.

    ● Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.

    ● Educate patients on proper exercise techniques and provide guidance on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. ● Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans ● Provide emotional support and educate patients and their families on disease processes and treatment options ● Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to patient care ● Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of patient care

    Skills:

    ● Experience caring for seniors

    ● Knowledge of geriatric and neonatal care

    ● Strong would care knowledge

    ● Ability to administer medications and perform catheter care

    ● Familiarity with medical records and vital signs

    ● Experience with gastric lavage and other medical procedures

    ● Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    ● Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently

    ● Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of the organization

    Qualifications: ● Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.

    ● Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Texas

    ● Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy

    ● Minimum one year experience in a home healthcare setting

    ● One-year experience in geriatric care, preferred

    ● Experience working in a hospital or clinic setting.

    ● Ability to provide patient care in a variety of settings, including home community care.

    ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    ● Proficiency in trigger point therapy and other physical therapy modalities.

    ● A passion for delivering high-quality patient care and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
