BioMechanic Physical Therapy is looking for a Physical Therapy Assistant to add to our Leesburg Virginia based team. We are a 100% physical therapist-owned practice with a unique focus on biomechanics through creative problem-solving, skilled manual therapy, and use of the latest and proven technologies. Access to high tech modalities include Class IV multi wavelength laser, Graston, cupping, automated ultrasound, electrical acupuncture (ETPS), dry needling and more. We have a small clinic-feel that focuses on time with patients, lending itself well if you are a new grad interested in mentorship opportunities, or an experienced practitioner looking to contribute your experience to a range of patients. A comprehensive access to benefits begins at 32 hours per week, as we believe in the importance of work-life balance. Job-Type: Part Time, up to 32 per week
Schedule: Flexible hours with clinic open Monday through Friday from 7am -7pm
Compensation: $27.55 - $50 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Administers treatment programs for patients.
Help patients to increase mobility, relieve pain, and promote overall fitness and health
Document patients’ progress, and modify treatments as directed by physical therapist
Educate patients on PT intervention and continuation of care for home use
Communicates and coordinates effectively, both written and verbally, with patients, families, and other team members regarding the patient's overall plan of care.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited curriculum with an Associates degree as a physical therapy assistant
Ability to work alongside a collaborative team
Openness to learning and goal toward continuous self improvement
Sincere passion for patient care
