Job Overview
The Physical Therapist position provides services that help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease as they restore, maintain and promote overall fitness and health. We seek a responsible individual for evaluating individuals with mobility dysfunction and provide a plan of care that is specific to the individual’s goals related to functional independence.
This position is also responsible for providing support to the Rehabilitation Manager in the design, development, implementation, and monitoring of rehabilitation programs to improve outcomes, processes, and participant experience. This position is also involved in the onboarding and training of new rehabilitation staff members and will provide coverage at other locations as needed.
Minimum Requirements
• Physical Therapist license issued by the State of California Physical Therapy Board required.
• Prior experience working with the frail elderly (Geriatric) and disabled populations preferred.
• Current BLS certification also required.
• Bilingual preferred: English/Spanish/Cantonese/Mandarin
