    We are a growing multidisciplinary therapy clinic in need of a Physical Therapy Assistant. This position will primarily working with pediatrics at our Gateway Center location (inside of Laugh & Learn).

    Job tasks & vital functions:

    As the Physical Therapy Assistant you will:

    Implements and executes an established patient treatment plan under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

    Communicates with patients, families, referring physicians, and other members of the team.

    Provides timely written documentation per facility and department requirements.

    Develops and enhances clinical and professional skills through knowledge and professional association.

    Provides timely written documentation as required by the insurance provider to meet licensing, certification, regulatory, and reimbursement requirements.

    Supports and participates in department operations and development.

    Reports any changes in patient status or needs to supervising therapist on a timely basis.

    Meets or exceeds the productivity standards as established with Supervisor

    Uses professional judgment to ensure the safety of self, patients, and others at all times.

    Attends required meetings as designed by the supervisor.

    Effectively communicates with therapists concerning patients' responses to treatment plans.

    Attends in-services, training sessions, or other educational presentations.

    Maintains valid licensure, certification, or equivalent as requested by the appropriate state agency.

    MUST HAVE MICHIGAN PTA LICENSE TO APPLY!
