Our office is situated in Federal Way, WA, and candidates must reside within a commutable distance to be eligible. Providers see one patient at a time for 40 minutes. • Personalized care • Work collaboratively with the our lead DPT and experienced PTAs • 4-10s or 6-8s schedule option • CE yearly allowance • Community Service • Team Building Events • $500 signing bonus Responsibilities: • Assisting patients by guiding them through prescribed exercises and rehabilitation activities under the supervision of physical therapists to ensure proper form and safety. • Monitoring patients' progress closely and reporting any changes in their condition or responses to treatments promptly to the supervising physical therapist. • Setting up and maintaining treatment areas and equipment meticulously to create a safe and efficient working environment for therapy sessions. • Keeping accurate records of patient treatments, progress notes, and other essential information in compliance with healthcare regulations. • Educating and supporting patients and their families on exercise programs and recovery processes to foster comprehension and adherence to treatment plans. Qualifications: • To qualify for the position of Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) candidates must have completed an accredited Associate's degree program in physical therapy assisting. • Applicants need to hold a Washington State license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant. • Successful completion of a criminal background check is required as part of the licensing process. • Candidates must engage in continuous professional development and meet ongoing continuing education requirements to uphold licensure. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members in a clinical setting. • Candidates must be authorized to work in the US. • Candidates must reside within commuting distance of the office located in Federal Way. Compensation: $30 - $35 hourly
