    Thanks for checking out our Physical Therapy Assistant job post. We are an award winning, one-on-one, manual therapy-based physical therapy clinic located in Fort Worth, Texas. The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) will work closely with physical therapists to provide therapeutic interventions to patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions. The PTA will be responsible for implementing care plans, assisting with rehabilitation exercises, and supporting patients in their recovery journey. Responsibilities: • Offering valuable information and recommendations to the physical therapist regarding patient progress and care strategies, Assessing and recognizing issues affecting patient treatment plans, executing prescribed physical therapy interventions to improve patient mobility and function. • Conducting patient interviews, performing physical examinations, and reviewing therapy histories to evaluate health status. • Reviewing the physical therapist's assessments and test results to identify any abnormal findings. • Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records. • Performs therapeutic procedures by administering manual therapy and exercises. • Instructs and counsels patients by describing therapeutic regimens; giving normal growth and development information; promoting wellness and health maintenance. • Working closely with physical therapists to develop and implement patient management strategies. • Maintains production objectives by noting current treatment trends; monitoring actual physical therapy services rendered to production objectives. • Maintains legal and accreditation compliance by adhering to policy positions concerning federal, state, and local regulations; anticipating emerging issues. • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations • Taking ownership of diverse patient care requests and ensuring their successful completion, identifying and exploring opportunities to improve patient outcomes and clinic operations, Staying abreast of the latest physical therapy techniques and integrating them into practice to provide exceptional care. • Tasks created by management Qualifications: • Manual Therapy certification or advanced manual therapy classes taken (not required, we can teach you) Compensation: $22 - $35 hourly
