Job Description

Evergreen Center is currently seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (3-5 days per week, approx. 32 hours). This is a temporary position covering a maternity leave with a tentative start date of May/June.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITES:

• Provides direct service to students aged 6-22 with a wide range of diagnoses
• Works under the supervision of the Physical Therapist by following treatment plan and/or IEP objectives to meet students’ motor skill goals
• Maintains accurate and complete records regarding progress toward individual goals
• Monitors classroom implementation of Physical Therapy programs.
• Assists Physical Therapist to provide staff training in specific techniques or treatments for individual students

Qualifications

• Requires PTA license
• Completion of an accredited Associates degree program
• One year of relevant experience with persons who have multiple challenges preferred
