    JOB SUMMARY

    This position will ensure all Business Office Functions within the physical therapy department are completed accurately and timely for proper operation of management reports and cash flow.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    High School Diploma required.

    Minimum one year previous Hospital or Outpatient Physical Therapy billing collections, payment posting and front office experience.

    Proficient in MS office applications which include Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.

    Requires frequent and constant judgment for timely response to patient questions and concerns.

    OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE

    Office Environment, requires language skills adequate for effective written and interpersonal communication in American English.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Scheduling of Physical Therapy patients.
    2. Registration of Physical Therapy patients.
    3. Verify insurance and maintain referrals.
    4. Charge extraction and insurance billing charge extraction.
    5. Follow up on account receivables.
    6. Post patient payments and balance daily deposits.
