As our next physical therapist, we're looking for a medical professional who is enthusiastic about patient care. You will work with individuals who experience mobility problems following surgery or an injury and assist them in creating a treatment strategy. In this position, you will be in charge of putting together individualized health and fitness programs for patients as well as giving them physical therapy to reduce pain and increase mobility. Our ideal applicant will be knowledgeable about the most recent advancements in treatment and will have experience dealing with a wide range of patient issues. Responsibilities: • Obtain advice from and work together with other healthcare professionals • Create treatment strategies using a range of therapeutic methods for each patient • Use physical therapy on patients to reduce pain and improve mobility as advised by doctor • Talk to patients and assess their physical condition including any injuries or mobility issues • Review the data gathered from the patient's tests and examinations, then make recommendations based on your findings • Establish a plan of care including long and short-term goals, frequency, duration, and treatment modalities and/or manual therapy for each patient • Provide comprehensive treatment to patients utilizing modalities and/or manual therapy and modify patient treatment as indicated while adhering to precautions Qualifications: • Current state licensure in the state you practice • This position requires a bachelor’s degree or higher and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) • We prefer candidates with some previous experience working directly with patients in a healthcare setting • Must have exceptional analytical skills, communication skills, and observational skills • This position requires passage of the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) Compensation: $45 - $55 hourly
