We're looking for a healthcare professional who is passionate about helping patients as our next physical therapist. You will work with people who have orthopedic mobility issues, particularly related to spinal deformities, post-surgically, due to injury, or are interested in better understanding their posture and body mechanics as it relates to their unique spine condition. In this role, you'll be responsible for creating personalized health and exercise plans for each unique patient's goals while also providing them with specialized orthopedic spine-based physical therapy to alleviate pain and improve their mobility. Our ideal candidate will have 2+ years of outpatient, orthopedic experience with a wide range of patient ages and issues and will also be up-to-date on the most recent developments in treatment. To qualify for this position, you must be a licensed physical therapist in the state of Texas, have a driver's license, and be willing to work on-site in Central Austin. Responsibilities: • Evaluate and interpret findings from the patient's tests results and assessments • Collaborate with others in the medical field and seek their opinions • Design therapeutic strategies that integrate many approaches and techniques to meet individual patient needs • Utilize physical therapy on patients to ease discomfort and increase mobility as prescribed by doctor • Ensure that patient care records are correct, and adhere to all regulations and guidelines • Ask patients about their physical status, including any injuries or mobility concerns • Able to efficiently and effectively assess patient's orthopedic injuries to create a plan of care, follow up with re-evaluations in a timely manner, and perform discharge evaluations as appropriate • Be interested in growth opportunities within the clinic and interested in participating in continued clinic growth • Interested in flexible schedule and a wide breadth of caseload conditions • Willing to participate in receiving specialized scoliosis training to become a Schroth practitioner • Cash-based practice that utilizes JANEapp EMR system for documentation and hourly patient schedule. Max patient expectation is 8 patients/day. Qualifications: • Must have a bachelor’s degree or higher and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) • This position requires passage of the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) • This position requires excellent analytical skills, communication skills, and observational skills • Some experience working in a healthcare facility or clinic with patients is preferred • Current state licensure in the state you practice Compensation: $80,500
