    Responsibilities

    Assist Patients in Exercise and Daily Tasks:

    Provide guidance and support to patients during exercise routines and daily functional tasks.

    Correct forms to ensure proper technique, motivate patients, and prioritize their safety throughout sessions.

    Review and Administer Treatment Plans:

    Evaluate patients' conditions and develop individualized treatment plans based on their needs and goals previously established by DPT.

    Administer treatment sessions according to these plans, adjusting as necessary based on progress.

    Maintain Accurate Records:

    Keep detailed and up-to-date records for each patient, documenting their treatment, progress, and relevant information.

    Work with Diverse Population:

    Demonstrate comfort and proficiency in working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, understanding and respecting cultural differences.

    Follow Post-Op Protocols:

    Adhere to established protocols for post-operative rehabilitation, particularly for surgeries such as ACL reconstruction, meniscus repair, and rotator cuff rehab.

    Coordinate with medical doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient continuity of care and optimal recovery.

    Qualifications

    Current state licensing for physical therapy assistance is required

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    The ability to create a positive, nurturing environment

    The ability to work well and make decisions when DPT is not in the clinic.
