Job Overview:
The Physician Assistant will have the opportunity to directly impact the lives of veterans by providing them with high-quality healthcare services in the Primary Care team setting which include both outpatient scheduled and unscheduled Veterans. You'll be e responsible for clinic appointments and follow-up of labs/imaging/procedures ordered during these appointments, interpretation, phone call consultation from hospitalists and intensivists on inpatients, and availability for case review with nurse practitioners on service – all this will provide the chance to utilize and further develop your clinical skills in a fast-paced environment. With an estimated 95% of your time spent in direct patient care, you'll gain valuable experience and expertise in managing a diverse range of patient cases. The position requires candidates who are technically proficient and committed to upholding the highest standards of care. By meeting the government's requirements, including maintaining current licensure, certifications, and adherence to ethical standards, you'll be part of a team dedicated to providing top-notch healthcare services to our nation's veterans. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurse practitioners, hospitalists, and intensivists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
