    Responsibilities

    Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and assessments to formulate accurate diagnoses.

    Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, incorporating evidence-based practices and patient-centered care.

    Prescribe and manage appropriate medication regimens for mental health conditions, monitoring effectiveness and side effects.

    Provide therapy and counseling to patients, offering support and guidance in managing their mental health concerns.

    Follow Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare East/West, Commercial Insurance guidelines, rules and regulations.

    Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for patients.

    Educates patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options and self-care strategies.

    Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.

    Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

    Qualifications

    Education: Master's degree

    Experience: 3-5 years of related experience preferred

    Licenses/Certifications: PA-C Medical License within the state of Indiana required

    Clinical experience with Primary care and urgent care required

    Clinical experience with mental and behavioral health preferred

    Current knowledge of mental and behavioral health standards of practice with medication management preferred

    Possess strong understanding of societies and their impact on mental health; ability to solve problems, monitor and examine patients

    Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and colleagues compassionately

    Ability to work collaboratively with a team of diverse individuals

    Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining patient confidentiality
