Duties
- Provide comprehensive and quality patient care under the supervision of a physician
- Conduct physical examinations, diagnose and treat illnesses, and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems (EHR)
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures
- Participate in medical rounds, case conferences, and other interdisciplinary meetings
Skills
- Proficient in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment across various medical specialties including pediatrics, acute care, and nursing home settings
- Strong knowledge of medical coding systems such as ICD-10 for accurate documentation and billing purposes
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and work independently or as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
