    Job Overview:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic urgent care team. As a Provider in our urgent care setting, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality and efficient patient care. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in urgent care or emergency medicine, possess excellent diagnostic and communication skills, and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities:

    Patient Assessment and Treatment:

    Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and physical examinations.

    Diagnose and treat a variety of urgent care conditions, injuries, and illnesses.

    Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, laboratory tests, and EKGs.

    Emergency Care:

    Provide timely and effective care for patients with urgent medical needs.

    Stabilize patients in emergency situations and coordinate transfer to higher levels of care when necessary.

    Collaboration:

    Work collaboratively with the medical team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

    Communicate effectively with patients and families, explaining diagnoses, treatment plans, and necessary follow-up care.

    Record Keeping:

    Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records for all patient encounters.

    Document patient care plans, prescriptions, and other relevant information in compliance with healthcare regulations.

    Quality Improvement:

    Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of urgent care services.

    Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines.

    Education and Training:

    Provide education to patients regarding their conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.

    Participate in the training and orientation of new healthcare staff as needed.

    Qualifications:

    Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program or Nurse Practitioner program

    Current state licensure as a Certfied Physician Assistant or Certified Nurse Practitioner

    Minimum of 2 years of experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or a related field.

    Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

    Working Conditions:

    Fast-paced urgent care setting with varying patient volumes.

    Shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

    Exposure to infectious diseases and potential for occupational hazards.
