Bestica is seeking a Physician – Emergency Medicine to provide future services at Charlie Norwood VA Health Care System, 950 15th Street, Augusta, GA 30901

Scope : The Employee shall provide Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician Services on site in accordance with the specifications contained herein to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Charlie Norwood VA Health Care System (CNVAHCS). The employee shall provide onsite emergency department physician services that meet or exceed the American College of Emergency Physician Guidelines. The employee will also provide Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), to include both emergency medicine experienced Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) to provide onsite emergency department services that meet or exceed the following guidelines: the American Academy of Emergency Nurse Practitioners (AAENP)

Requirements :

• All physicians shall be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and be currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through programs approved by VA Resuscitation Education Initiative (REdI) per VHA directive 1177.
• All continuing education courses required for maintaining certification must be kept up to date at all times.
• The Employee shall provide Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician Services on site in accordance with the specifications contained herein to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Charlie Norwood VA Health Care System (CNVAHCS).
