Physician Liaison
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Physician Liaison to represent our three clinics in Anchorage, AK! This role is ideal for a customer-service-oriented individual with healthcare experience, who excels at time management, communication, and relationship-building. Physical therapy or occupational therapy experience is a plus but not required. You will be responsible for engaging with physicians and healthcare providers, educating them on our services, and driving referral growth to our clinics.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: Up to $25 Per Hour Based on Experience
- Flexible schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours/week.
- PTO: 4 weeks (accrued, not use-it-or-lose-it; carries over up to 300 hours).
- Paid holidays: 6 paid holidays annually.
- 401(K): 4% employer match after 1 year.
- Health insurance: 85% premium covered for employee (family coverage available at a different rate), effective the first of the month after 30 days.
- Vision & dental insurance: 85% premium covered for employee, available within 90 days.
- Productivity-based bonus system: Based on referral counts.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, and other referral sources in the Anchorage area.
- Promote and educate healthcare providers about our physical and occupational therapy services, including the benefits of referring patients to our clinics.
- Manage and grow the referral base by actively seeking new business opportunities.
- Represent the clinic at local healthcare events and networking functions (minimal weekend events required).
- Track and report on referral activity and progress towards goals.
- Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure smooth patient transitions from referral to treatment.
- Ensure all communications with healthcare providers are clear, professional, and timely.
- Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or questions from referring physicians and patients.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare-related role, with strong emphasis on customer service and relationship management.
- Physical therapy or occupational therapy experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
- Ability to handle minimal weekend event requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
