    Role: Physician in Charge

    Who We Are

Join a pioneering team with a legacy of transforming healthcare. Our client cares for elderly patients in a manner that puts the patient at the center of everything they do. Their network is dedicated to providing comprehensive care, integrating medical treatment with the social, financial, cognitive, spiritual and psychological aspects of its patients' lives. Our client is driven by a mission to keep the elderly in their homes, focusing on value-based care that addresses specific patient goals. As a Physician in Charge, you'll play a crucial role in a collaborative model that includes oversight of an entire Interdisciplinary Team (IDT), full behavioral health programs, APP's and on-staff pharmacists. We stand out with our strong financial foundation, consistently profitable operations, and a culture of dedicated comprehensive care.

    Who You Are

You are a compassionate and driven physician, Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Palliative, or Geriatrics, licensed in Michigan, with at least one year of experience working with the frail or elderly population. Your passion for geriatric care goes beyond medical treatment; it encompasses a profound commitment to all-inclusive care that tackles medical, social, and spiritual needs. You're a leader, ready to guide an IDT and mentor Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants while delivering exceptional direct patient care. Your vision aligns with a model that favors patient-centric, value-based care, and you possess the knowledge and expertise to manage complex chronic diseases holistically.

    What You'll Do

As the Physician in Charge, you will:

    • Provide medical leadership and oversight at one of our three critical locations, with direct clinical oversight of 2-4 Nurse Practitioners.
    • Engage in strategic clinical planning to reduce hospitalizations, manage utilization, and oversee pharmacy operations.
    • Conduct initial patient assessments, manage complex cases, and support your team in delivering care that keeps patients out of nursing homes.
    • Participate in company leadership meetings and collaborate with other clinical and operational leaders to drive forward our model of care.
    • Maintain responsibility for your site's clinical documentation, upholding standards and participating actively in utilization management meetings.
    • Offer mentorship and conduct performance evaluations for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary, annual bonuses. You'll work regular business hours Monday through Friday, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.
