Job Title: Physician - Wound Care Specialist
Job Summary: The Physician - Wound Care Specialist will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with acute and chronic wounds. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wound care, excellent clinical skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat patients with various types of wounds, including diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, and surgical wounds.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and best practices.
- Perform wound debridement, dressing changes, and other wound care procedures.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on wound care management and prevention strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Stay current with advancements in wound care treatments and technologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Surgery).
- Valid medical license to practice in Oklahoma.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in wound care is highly preferred.
