    We are seeking a Picker to join our team in Knightdale, NC. In this role you will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing cabinets and related products for shipment based on customer orders, ensuring inventory accuracy and timely order fulfillment.

    The Role:

    The Picker is responsible for accurately selecting and preparing cabinets and related products based on customer orders. This role requires locating items within the warehouse, verifying item details and quantities, and ensuring products are properly packed and ready for shipment. The Picker plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring the timely fulfillment of orders.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Order Picking:

    Efficiently pick cabinets and associated items based on provided order lists and packing slips.

    Double-check items for accuracy to ensure correct products and quantities are selected.

    Inventory Accuracy:

    Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels by participating in stock audits and reporting discrepancies.

    Report any missing, damaged, or incorrect items to the supervisor for resolution.

    Quality Assurance:

    Inspect items for any visible damage, defects, or issues prior to packing.

    Ensure all products meet company quality standards before they are shipped.

    Safety Compliance:

    Follow all warehouse safety procedures and protocols to create and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and team members.

    Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and according to company guidelines.

    Packing and Preparation:

    Accurately pack picked items, label shipments, and complete necessary documentation.

    Ensure items are packed securely to avoid damage during transit.

    Warehouse Organization:

    Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company housekeeping standards.

    Assist with the general upkeep of the warehouse to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

    Teamwork and Collaboration:

    Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily operational goals.

    Communicate openly and cooperatively with supervisors and other warehouse staff to ensure the efficient flow of work.

    Qualifications:

    Experience:

    Previous experience in warehouse operations or a similar role is preferred.

    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items (up to [specified weight]) regularly throughout the workday.

    Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods of time.

    Attention to Detail:

    Strong focus on accuracy in order picking, inventory management, and packing.

    Organizational Skills:

    Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

    Communication:

    Effective verbal communication skills to work collaboratively with team members and supervisors.

    Basic Math Skills:

    Basic math skills are needed for inventory counts, order verification, and product handling.

    Certification:

    Forklift certification is a plus but not required.

    Working Conditions:

    Environment: Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and physical activity.

    Hours: Full-time position with the potential for overtime, particularly during peak periods.

    Physical Demands: Frequent lifting, bending, standing, and walking.
