QUALIFICATIONS
450-hour comprehensive Pilates education and Certification (Minimum to include Mat, Reformer, Chair, and Springboard)
Must be skilled at proper and safe use of a variety of equipment during each class, including, but not limited to, hand weights, Exo-Chair, Reformer, Springboard, TRX, Magic Circle and other equipment as needed to ensure a safe yet creative group experience. Comfortable adding TRX, Barre and Trigger Point modalities to teaching repertoire.
Demonstrate anatomical knowledge and focus on safety.
Experience teaching 6 or more participants in an apparatus-based group class and demonstrated group reformer instruction abilities.
Up-to-date CPR training or willingness to obtain.
In-depth understanding of the benefits of Pilates.
Willingness to evolve with new developments in the fitness industry, specifically Pilates.
Pleasant demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
Passion for learning and willingness to attend continued education trainings and seminars.
Able to work harmoniously with others.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide Pilates instruction to include Intro classes, group apparatus classes, private and semi-private training as scheduled by management and pursuant to Club Pilates standards.
Create a safe yet creative group class experience.
Stay up-to-date and implement Club Pilates education standards at all times.
Contribute to a positive learning and teaching environment for all clients and fellow instructors.
Maintain safety standards at all times.
Be a motivating and inspiring force to promote our motto: Do Pilates. Do Life.
Maintain certification requirements.
Visually inspect the equipment prior to the beginning of class to ensure equipment is in good working order and safe to use
Maintain a clean and orderly workout environment.
Provide exceptional level of customer service.
