  • Responsibilities

    Job Description: Includes but is not limited to:

    Instruction: Enthusiastic about teaching Pilates Reformer classes and enjoy delivering fresh ans innovative routines using verbal and non-verbal cues in a clear and timely manner. Must be able to maintain good pacing throughout the class and use clear and easy to follow directions following Pilates reformer principals and guidelines.

    Safety: While instructing class, must stay focused on safety of all class attendees. Needs to be able to teach to a variety of fitness levels, encouraging proper form and giving corrective feedback to class attendees.

    Customer Service: Confident in your professionalism by reporting on time with a positive attitude and a passion to motivate others. Must be professional and someone who is a collaborative and flexible leader both in and out of the studio. Must be able to provide a class experience that the attendees look forward to.

    Reformer Equipment Assistance: Must be able to set up new attendees on Reformer equipment and explain proper and adjustments.

    Job Requirements:

    Mandatory: Current Pilates Reformer License/Certification

    Mandatory: Minimum 1-2 years teaching experience

    Mandatory: CPR Certification (With AED Preferred) or ability to certify within 90 days

    Professional and enthusiastic attitude. Cornerstone Clubs always has customer service as a top priority.

    Excellent listening and verbal communication skills.

    Flexible schedule of availability including evenings and weekends.

    Physical Requirements:

    Stand, sit, bend and move legs to work on Reformer Equipment at various speeds the entire class period and perform fitness routine to demonstrate your physical fitness. This includes using proper form the entire class period, maintaining your proper form the entire class period and being a cardio fitness role model.

    Bending, stooping, squatting, walking, reaching below knees, and reaching overhead for part of the class.

    Must be able to observe entire class for safety purposes.

    Cornerstone Club's Group Exercise Instructors are employees of Cornerstone. This is not a contract position.
