Job Posting: Front-of-House (FOH) Employee – Pioneer Bakery Cafe

Location: Kirkwood, Missouri Position: Part-time (Saturday and Sunday shifts)

About Us: The Pioneer Bakery Cafe, a collaborative effort between McArthur’s Bakery Cafe and Lafayette Industries, is dedicated to providing a dynamic fast-casual training program. Our focus is on developing essential front-of-house and back-of-house skills for adults with intellectual disabilities. As we continue to grow, we are seeking passionate individuals to join our team in supporting this mission while delivering exceptional customer service.

Job Description: We are looking for friendly, motivated, and reliable Front-of-House (FOH) employees for weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday). As a member of our team, you’ll be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for our customers, ensuring smooth service, and assisting in the overall success of the cafe.

Responsibilities:

Take and deliver customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.

Assist with basic food preparation and beverage service.

Assist with restocking and replenishing inventory as needed.

Qualifications:

High energy and a positive attitude.

Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.

Ability to multitask and work as part of a team.

Previous experience in customer service is preferred, but not required.
