Responsibilities: • Supervise and manage the crew responsible for installing water, storm, and sewer pipelines • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans to ensure the accurate installation of utilities • Ensure proper alignment, elevation, and grade for pipe installations • Coordinate with project managers, site superintendents, and other trades to ensure timely completion of work • Monitor daily activities to ensure that production goals are met while maintaining quality and safety standards • Enforce safety protocols and conduct daily safety meetings with the crew • Troubleshoot any issues that arise on-site, including conflicts in plans, weather delays, and equipment malfunctions • Ensure equipment and tools are properly used and maintained • Prepare daily reports on job progress, crew performance, and any site issues • Work with inspectors and ensure all work passes regulatory inspections and quality control checks Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pipe installation for civil construction projects • Previous experience as a Pipe Foreman or similar leadership role in utility installation • Strong understanding of civil construction practices, including trench safety, excavation, and pipe-laying techniques • Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage crews and collaborate with other trades. • Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment • Proficiency in operating heavy machinery used for pipe installation (excavators, loaders, etc.) • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Compensation: $50,000 - $70,000 yearly
