We are seeking a Salesforce Developer for an award winning renewable energy provider. This is a crucial role and will be instrumental in developing and customizing Salesforce for various business processes, local programs, marketing, and more. We need someone who is a certified Salesforce Platform Developer 2 to use their expertise to ensure that our Salesforce and systems are user friendly, secure and support business needs.

The Salesforce Developer will:

• Lead the design and development of customized Salesforce solutions. You will own technical projects, collaborating in an agile environment to build on an existing infrastructure.

• Develop and implement custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules and flows to enhance system functionality and user experience.

• Work in a team to assist with adopting industry standard Salesforce dev ops processes and automation.

• Oversee the seamless integration of Salesforce with other systems and third-party applications while managing Salesforce data feeds and other integrations.

• Provide ongoing user support to Salesforce to ensure optimal platform performance.

• Develop and deliver end-user training to enhance their understanding of Salesforce functionalities and adoption of best practices. This will include the creation of user guides and documentation of system data flow.

• Continuously evaluate and enhance Salesforce features and functionalities to support evolving business needs. You will stay abreast of the latest software development technologies to recommend and implement improvements, as needed.

• Implement Salesforce security controls and permissions and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in data management, security, and privacy.

Qualifications you'll need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering OR equivalent experience

• 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, including configuring Salesforce using workflows, validation rules, Lightning Flow, business process automation, and data privacy / user management.

• Salesforce Platform Developer 2 (required).

• Ability to communicate architecture plans and constraints of the Salesforce platform and work with business users to gather requirements and communicate plans.

• Solid proficiency in Apex/Lightning Web Components/SOQL.

• Ability to integrate Salesforce with other applications.

• Project management skills working in an Agile team.
