Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Pizza Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team. Morning and evening managers needed. In this role, you will be assisting management in overseeing all food and beverage operations. Your goal is to increase sales and revenue, maintain a high level of employee engagement and provide a great customer dining experience. Pizzeria Assistant Managers, you will be responsible for:
Assist General Manager in hiring, training, and developing a high energy team of Shift Leaders and Team Members
Exhibit solid leadership by building an amazing culture and providing meaningful feedback
Deliver operational excellence in order to build sales and profitability
Some knowledge of planning, budgeting, and P&L management to control costs, labor, and production
Assist General Manager in executing marketing campaigns and the roll out of promotions and new menu items
Effectively delegate responsibility and ensure accountability
Open availability to support all hours of business operations
Model excellent guest service skills and manage guest requests and concerns
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment including kitchen and food prep
Ensure quality and consistency of all products served
Ensure all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition.
Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and assist management with prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures.
Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety, and labor requirements.
Prepare and cook pizzas, following specific recipes and guidelines. Ensure that all ingredients are properly portioned and prepared. Monitor oven temperatures and cooking times to ensure pizzas are cooked to perfection.
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED
Previous culinary or leadership experience
ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification
Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
A lead by example approach
