A prominent plaintiff’s law firm based in Hackensack, NJ, is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal /Case Manager to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate must possess 5-10 years of litigation experience. Previous litigation and personal injury experience are required and medical malpractice experience is a plus. Candidates without the required experience will not be considered. A comprehensive benefits package is available. Responsibilities: Including, but not limited to: • Setting up case structure, organizing case documents and calendar dates; • Preparing and filing legal documents including discovery requests/responses; • Researching expert witnesses and scheduling depositions; • Communicating with legal team members, clients, counsel, experts, and court; • Subpoena medical and other records; • Reviewing documents/medical records and preparing detailed summaries/chronologies. Qualifications: • Self-starter who can work with little supervision, be extremely organized, and very detail-oriented; • Ability to multi-task effectively and prioritize incoming work to meet deadlines; • Demonstrate a professional demeanor to problem-solve during busy times; • Follow through with minimal direction and take the initiative; • Treat others with respect and contribute to a positive team environment; • Knowledge of Trial pad and/or TrialWorks a plus; • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word and PDF conversion software. Excel and PowerPoint experience is necessary; • Knowledge of Local and State discovery rules; • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; • Organization skills and attention to detail. Compensation: $70,000+ annual DOE
