Communicate financial results and accurately analyzing financial information.
Supervise the accounting staff and daily accounting activities including, accounts payable & receivable, corporate reporting, working capital management, operations financial tracking, etc.
Prepare and interpret the operating and financial reports for Executive Management.
Coordinates portions of the monthly/quarterly/year-end close process.
Prepares quarterly forecasts and annual budgets for the site.
Provides financial leadership by developing and achieving financial targets.
Provide comprehensive operating and financial analyses covering all contracts and current business operations in compliance with acceptable Government contracts procedures.
Lead person and point of contact for U.S. Government/DCAA audits and forward pricing data.
Interface with Program Management to provide financial analysis on program performance.
Works with business, functional, and technical staff to support cost estimate development, customer proposals, negotiations, and various audits.
Maintain a company-wide expense and cost control program coordinated with the budgetary control system.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance.
7+ years of relevant accounting experience.
Manufacturing experience required.
Experience within government contracts is required including knowledge of FAR/DFAR.
